6:19 Say,"What thing is greatest in testimony? Say,"Allah is a witness between me and you, and this Quran was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you testify with Allah there is other deities?" Say,"I will not testify". Say,"Indeed, He is but One God and indeed, I am free of what you associate".

The Quran has reached me 

Indeed He is but One God

Indeed I am free from what you associate 

Indeed the Quran has reached me, Gabriel has done what was entrusted to him, so did Mohammad, so did his disciples, so did those after them and those after them until safely delivered to me into my heart and my mind.
 

2:255 Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His dominion extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. and  He is the Most high, the Most Great. 

Coming back on how to rediscover ourselves and exactly where do we begin and how to start? Indeed finding the beginning/the origin/the source of it all would be a start. 

Lets start at the beginning. To understand the beginning we somehow need to peek into what was before that and what was before that and what was before , endless quest no doubt.

Indeed the Quran has reached me, Gabriel has done what was entrusted to him, so did Mohammad, so did his disciples, so did those after them and those after them until safely delivered to me into my heart and my mind. 

We need not be bewildered in searching for the beginning or before the beginning as high and low, as the sun, the moon  and the stars, as our forefather Abraham did or as Mohammad did in the cave of Hira. What was he doing in the cave if not in search of the Creator and Sustainer of existence.

We only need to look into Al-Quran. Full stop. That is it. Easy, simple and Al-Quran will take us into the journey of discovery like never before, the past, the present and the future and everything that needs to be known to satisfy our quest for knowledge.
